Marketing and Social Media Manager

Type: Full-Time

Location: Galway

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional and digital marketing, and the ability to manage and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review marketing strategy annually to shape the annual marketing plan.
  2. Flex the annual plan and budget to achieve marketing goals.
  3. Advise, manage and monitor ezine, text and social output and implement full KPI’s on strategies.
  4. Manage brand standards and improve brand awareness through use of PR, Awards, business and community contacts.
  5. Be part of a team achieving environmental and sustainability improvements.

Digital Marketing:

  1. Maintain and update three websites, including SEO work and SEM campaigns.
  2. Run and manage social media campaigns across various platforms.
  3. Monitor and report on performance using Google Analytics.
  4. Design and schedule social media content.
  5. Develop and implement seasonal marketing strategies.
  6. Send monthly emails and weekly texts to our database.

Traditional Marketing:

  1. Create and manage newspaper and radio campaigns.
  2. Manage and respond to all sponsorship requests.
  3. Working with sales reps to manage a calendar of trade/Agri shows during the Summer months.

Graphic Design:

  1. Execute large format graphic design projects as needed.
  2. Design print and digital advertisements on a daily basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with SEO/SEM and social media marketing.
  2. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and web development tools.
  3. Certifications in Google Analytics or similar marketing tools.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in both digital and traditional marketing or relevant qualification.
  • Proficiency in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and Social Media Management.
  • Strong graphic design skills, with experience in both print and digital media. (Adobe Design Suite experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop creative marketing strategies and execute them effectively.
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
