Sweeney Oil is seeking a Service Station Supervisor to help lead one of our busy, high-performing retail forecourts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with retail experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career, or for a seasoned supervisor looking for a new challenge in a well-supported environment.
The Role
As Service Station Supervisor, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the station. You’ll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high retail standards, supporting stock and cash management, and leading the team by example on every shift.
You’ll report to the Retail Manager and play a key role in motivating staff, supporting training, and creating a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the team during your shift
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Support stock management, ordering, and merchandising
- Monitor store presentation, hygiene, and health & safety standards
- Handle daily cash-up, banking, and reporting procedures
- Respond to customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally
- Support new staff training and foster a strong team culture
- Open and close the store when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail or forecourt experience (supervisory or senior sales assistant level preferred)
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and manage tasks during busy periods
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with EPOS systems
